We are a rural community centrally placed between the three market towns of Nantwich, Tarporley and Winsford and have historically been a hub for agricultural activity. In recent years, several of the local farms have been converted into residential properties bringing new life & people to the area.

The Shropshire Union Canal runs through Cholmondeston (pronounced Chumston by the locals) and Wettenhall Wood is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Although rural we are closely situated to Crewe Railway Station, the M6 and both Liverpool and Manchester Airports. The recently announced HS2 route will further improve our connectivity with major cities in England.

Cholmondeston & Wettenhall have many communal ammenities.

The local church for the area is St David's and this is situated in Long Lane, Wettenhall.  For information on the services, click here.

We are ideally placed for the excellent schools, both Primary and secondary. Calveley Primary Academy, is the nearest  rural primary school to the area.  Please visit their school website.http://www.calveleyprimary.cheshire.sch.uk

The Little Man Public house is situated in the heart of the village and not far away in Church Minshull is the Badger Inn.

The Venetian Marina, a hub for canal boat enthusiasts, boasts a busy cafe - great to pop in after a long walk on the canal banks!
